Family Service Worker I

MAAC - Pauma Valley, CA

Under direct supervision, will be responsible for providing required health and social services; assist in recruitment and enrollment of children as assigned.  Incumbents may be assigned alternative work site based on the needs of the program and will be monitored by and receive training and technical assistance from the Health and Social Service Managers. 


  • High School diploma or GED is required.  AA degree is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency using software such as Microsoft Office, the internet and database software such as ChildPlus.
  • Twelve (12) units in Social and/or Health Education AND three (3) years related experience working with adults
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) speaking, reading, and writing required  
  • A Family Development Credential (FDC) is required within eighteen (18) months of employment in this classification for individuals hired after November 7, 2016.
