We are looking for an RN Consultant to provide prenatal and postpartum information and education to pregnant women, fathers, and partners, or other relevant family members. This may include home visits with agency staff. In addition, the RN Consultant may be asked to provide technical assistance when working with children and families, and provide guidance on health policy.
Position Summary: Under general direction, the Consultant will review, assist, and interpret health screening forms for children with identified health concerns, provide follow-up to post-partum women who are at risk for depression, provide staff and parent training presentations on health topics, and best practices, and other duties as assigned.
Salary: $60 per hour. This is a temporary, non-benefited position. Hours are flexible and will be determined by assignments, program need, and availability.
I. Registered Nurse certification as issued by the State of California
II. At least three (3) years’ experience
