Position Summary: As a vital staff member, the Staff Support Officer is responsible to a Deputy Director or Department Chief or designee. Under general direction, this position supervises and coordinates a variety of office and program administrative assistance assignments. This individual will plan and organize work procedures in assigned areas and monitor results, performs the most difficult office support, administrative detail and secretarial assignments, answers public and staff contacts and concerns, and performs related work as required.
