We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee the IT operations in our organization. You'll be responsible for liaising with other departments to ascertain their technological requirements, and developing solutions that are aligned with our organization's objectives. To be successful as an IT Manager, you should have excellent technical aptitude, as well as superior project management skills. Salary Range: $110,217 - $130,751 DOE
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee IT Operations Infrastructure: Manage all IT operations infrastructure for PFS Headquarters and expanding sites.
Windows OS Expertise: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
Develop, implement, and evaluate IT projects to align with organizational objectives.
Streamline and optimize IT processes to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
Implement industry best practices and standards for IT operations.
Develop and maintain documentation for operational procedures and protocols.
Liaise with other departments to determine and address their IT needs and requirements.
Ensure the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.
Identify vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.
Propose strategic solutions and recommend new systems and software.
Prepare financial budgets and performance reports.
Maintain and review inventory of IT assets.
Build and maintain relationships with external advisors and vendors.
Ensure reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
Collaborate with vendors to procure and manage IT hardware, software, and services.
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend strategic partnerships.
Develop and maintain a robust disaster recovery and business continuity plan.
Conduct regular tests to validate the effectiveness of recovery procedures.
Minimize downtime and data loss in the event of a system failure or disaster.
BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience (5+ years) in IT operations management or a related role.
Microsoft Entra ID: Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID.
Discretion and Judgment: Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with colleagues, interfacing with a variety of personal styles.
Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and developments.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of software development is desirable.
Experience in website development and maintenance is desirable.
Experience with VOIP phone systems is desirable.
