We’re hiring Associate Teachers, Teachers, and Master Teachers to join Contra Costa County Head Start in Bay Point, Brentwood, Concord, Oakley, Richmond, and Rodeo!

Associate Teacher ($47,729.28 - $58,015.32 Annually)
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field OR high school diploma/G.E.D. or a high school proficiency certificate and 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Child Development (CD) including core courses.
- Child Development Associate Teacher Permit.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Teacher ($59,261.16 - $72,032.28 Annually)
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field and coursework equivalent to a major related to ECE with experience teaching preschool-aged children.
- Child Development Teacher Permit.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Master Teacher ($62,336.04 - $75,769.80 Annually)
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) OR Associate’s degree or higher with twenty-four (24) ECE / Child Development (CD) units including the core courses of Child Development, Child, Family and Community and Programs and Curriculum. Course work must have included completion of twelve (12) ECE units plus three (3) units of supervised field experience in ECE setting.
- Child Development Master Teacher Permit.
- Two (2) years of full-time experience as preschool teacher; one (1) year must have included supervising staff in the classroom.
