The Preschool Services Department (PSD) is recruiting for Home Base Child & Family Support Workers - Contract to work with infants, toddlers, and their families to provide early learning experiences and supportive services in order to contribute to the attainment of child/family goals. Incumbents will provide home base services/educational activities to children and their families within the community necessary to promote successful transition into Kindergarten.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Must possess six (6) months full-time equivalent experience working in an educational or human/social services setting, preferably with children and families.
Substitution: Six (6) semester or (9) quarter units of completed college coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development (CD), Behavioral/Social Science, or closely related field may be considered in lieu of experience.
