Complete health file reviews. Identify and follow-up all children's health needs. Complete Follow-up on all health services referrals. Complete referrals for medical providers. Implement medication administration procedures; including processing medication, completing paperwork, following up with parents, administering medications, and training staff. Assess injured and ill children. Respond to emergencies. Provide consultations and training to parents and staff. Complete reports. Communicate with community health partners. Complete data entry into ChildPlus web-based record-keeping system.
Desired Skills & Experience: At least one-year clinical experience as a Registered Nurse or License Vocational Nurse. Current California state licensure. Experience in Head Start/Early Head Start, Pediatrics, and community health. Experience working with adult learners. Experience with ChildPlus system. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Flexibility and availability in order to meet program needs. Must have driver's license and transportation to travel to program sites or home visits as needed
