The Baldwin Park Unified School District is recruiting for Secretary III. This position is located at Early Childhood Education, Baldwin Park Department. Under general supervision, the employee will perform difficult and responsible clerical and secretarial work and act as secretary and general office assistant to an administrator. The employee will also assist in clerical and routine administrative details, including scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, taking notes, and assisting administrators with clerical and secretarial work and minor administrative and business details. The selection process tentatively consists of the District application review, proficiency exam, and interviews. The Human Resources Department will contact all applicants once the selection process has been finalized.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: * Graduation from high school or GED is required. Experience: * Three (3) years of office, general public contact, or secretarial level experience is required. * Experience in a public school setting or directly with students is desirable. Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish) REQUIRED LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES A valid California Driver’s License and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide reliable transportation between job sites is required.
